Imago is the last stage an insect attains during its metamorphosis, its process of growth and development. Imago is often referred to as the adult stage. Latin imāgō, imāgin-, image.
Silkworm, human life, satellite, light source, enclosed space, time pressure, captivity, isolation, alienation, solitude, separation, control are key words for my creative production, where the shape shifting of human beings are reflected by the life of silkworms.
Join ICP-Bard student Emilie Lundstrøm at the MFA Studios for the opening of her solo exhibition Imago.
