Modern Spaces and Chiral Design have teamed up with contemporary urban artist Billi Kid of New York to present the FLORA COLLECTION, an exhibition featuring a unique collection of artworks and silk scarves to benefit THE CENTER FOR ARTS EDUCATION.

Inspired by Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers, Billi Kid created this urban organic series with the fertility goddess in mind. Her association with spring gives her a particular importance that inspired his classic modernist impression. Billi Kid’s developed aesthetic and strong brand identity mixes street art sensibilities with sophisticated nods to fine art, fashion and design—resulting in multidisciplinary, technically mature artworks that embody the streets while thumbing its nose at the art world establishment.

This unique collaboration will help raise funds to support The Center For Arts Education, an organization that has led the effort to ensure every child in every New York City public school has access to a well-rounded education that includes the arts. A portion of proceeds from the sale of artworks and scarves will be donated to the organization.

“Arts education is essential for building innovative thinkers who will be our nation’s leaders for tomorrow.”
—Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education
