Very happy to share images of the opening night from the Guzu Gallery’s “Untitled” April 10th. What distinguishes this event from Guzu’s previous group shows is the absence of a specific pop culture theme. Rather, each artist was asked to create artwork that does not feature the usual pop culture suspects. The lowbrow aesthetic of the gallery’s previous shows will be familiar, but this go-round, each art piece will be unique to its creator’s imagination!
Some highlights from the show include the work of Daniel Aranda, Nate Bear, Breanna Boone, Kyle Carter, Jason Chalker, Alan Defibaugh, Tony Diaz, Forces of Dorkness, Laura Galbraith, Half-Human, Candy Yu Yen Kuo, David Lamplugh, Devin Lawson, Alice Meichi Li, Brian Maclaskey, Mark 80, Katrina Muir, New Flesh, Chet Phillips, Bethany Price, Mark Sarmel, Supersonic Jellybeanz, Zachary Taylor, Nathan Walker, Elisa Wikey, Patrick Wong.
Artwork will remain up through May 11th. Limited edition prints and resin pieces will be available for purchase.
